Nature Guided

Actually, this was taken in Flamingo down in Everglades National Park just after hurricane Katrina in 2005.  There was an 8-10 foot storm surge that came across this area during the storm just before it headed up to the Gulf Coast and New Orleans area.

The purpose of Nature Guided for me is to have a place to talk about things that I find interesting, important, or just worth chatting about.  I’m going to go ahead and post a few pictures taken over the past year, and will start making real posts soon.  I live in south Florida near Everglades National Park, where I work, and I’ll be heading up to Athens, Georgia next week just to hang out and relax while my wife Lisa attends some sort of training for work.  Hopefully, I can start making some relevant posts at that time, telling more about myself and my interests.  Ciao for now… Rick
